Offerings

  • It’s a privilege to be able to walk beside and guide community members through life’s varied thresholds, including the bitter, the sweet, and all that falls in between. Please reach out with any lifecycle event inquiries.

  • Alongside my role as a prayer leader, I am passionate about performing and sharing music of varied genres with congregants and audiences outside of the synagogue. I pride myself in being a versatile musical artist and vocalist— easily, and seamlessly, able to shift musical styles and contexts, and inspired by the opportunity to share, create, and hopefully uplift through music.

  • Personally and professionally, I am dedicated to living a life of deep intentionality. Every moment of our lives is an opportunity for spiritual practice. So often, all we need to do is open our eyes to the reality of our greater connectedness. Through rituals such as Yoga, mindfulness, contemplative practices, and more, even simply taking a moment to pause— to breathe— we are able to expand our inner-peace ultimately, leading to outer-peace for ourselves and the world entire.

  • I love to work with learners of all ages. It is exhilarating to help my students discover their interests and to unearth the sparks of excitement and interest they each possess. That includes b’nei mitzvah tutoring, adult learning classes, musical instruction, and song leading.

Education

As a child, my grandmother, a German Jewish refugee, and survivor of the Shoah, would remind me (as many of her generation would) of the following: “People can take anything away from you, they could take those you love, they could displace you, nothing is permanent, but they can never take away what is in your mind. They can never take away our education.” This sentiment has guided me through my own education and through my experience as an educator — both in theory and in praxis. I love to work with learners of all ages. It is exhilarating to help my students discover their interests and to unearth the sparks of excitement and interest they each possess.
